Welcome! As a Mask Sustaining Engineering Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you lead a team of lead engineers, engineers, and technicians across 4 shifts to ensure the health of the fab through: line quality monitoring & reacting; ensuring new processes are manufacturable; driving structured shift-left responses to excursions; and driving the Vision, Mission and Strategy of the Sustaining team. This position requires collaboration with Mask Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and PI & Change Management teams to ensure success.

Responsibilities:

• Finishing the required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a safe and positive work environment
• Developing ambitious performance targets and ensuring line-of-sight goals are communicated to your team members
• Ensuring OOS conditions and product excursions are reacted to in a timely and appropriate manner
• Ensuring seamless transfer of processes and methods to manufacturing
• Identify and drive continuous improvement projects for reticle manufacturability and line monitoring
• Monitor and improve shift-to-shift consistency in both product and process disposition
• Presenting regularly to MTC team members and leaders on sustaining metrics and projects
• Knowing Micron People policies and partnering closely with People organization

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated ability in building and developing teams
• Solid understanding of mask traveler and process flows
• Communicate and present technical information effectively
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong data analysis, problem solving, and fixing skills
• Collaborating with other groups to build strong peer relationships
• Coaching and mentoring team members supporting their career development
• Solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure
• Identify, understand, and mitigate risk before making critical decisions

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
