Micron Technology is Hiring a NVMQRA Senior Product Qualification Engineer Near Boise, ID

As an NVMQRA Senior Product Qualification Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will participate in taking data center products from design all the way to high volume manufacturing! This will involve analysis of both internal and external customer requirements, development of qualification plans to verify the product will meet those requirements, the implementation of new test software or testing methodologies and tools to facilitate the qualification, test execution, as well as some electrical and mechanical failure analysis to identify the root cause of qualification failures and the appropriate corrective action.

You will be:

  • Leading a team of engineers in technical debug, day-to-day operations, and data analysis to ensure successful product qualifications.
  • Working with cross-functional / worldwide engineering teams to establish and refine the overall product requirements.
  • System-level and drive level debugging using software programs, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for the overall qualification process and associated infrastructure.
  • Contributing to the development of new test and debug tools or serve as key member improving the overall efficiency of daily quality operations.
  • Provide daily or weekly update to management on outstanding quality issues.

You will have:

  • Experience in problem solving/troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in NAND, DRAM, SSD product engineering or validation roles.
  • Good in multitasking and able to support urgent request with high sense of urgency.
  • Hands-on working experience with any embedded systems – preferably SSD or CXL.
  • Experience using an oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, or similar tools.
  • Effective communication and leadership skill.
  • Basic experience coding in Python, C, or PERL.

Required Education:

  • Masters or Bachelors with 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferably in Semiconductor environment.
