Job Description: The Engineering Technician will support product and test engineers in the testing and development of discrete analog power devices. This includes testing of devices on the bench and automated test equipment in the lab or production environment. Duties include: Operate and inspect semiconductor test equipment Provide support in product setups and problem isolation Work with Engineers on process requirements, quality improvements, new product releases, hardware maintenance and department goals Read and interpret drawing, procedures, circuits, test data and specifications Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Familiar with electronic fundamentals and analytical skills Work experience in manufacturing environment Team player and can communicate effectively with others Proficient use of computers and basic software such as MS Office Ability to work independently and systematically Detail oriented and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of hands-on working experience with semiconductor ATE (TESEC, Focused Test, SPEA) and Probe Equipment Experience with PCB hardware and software development used in semiconductor testing Experience with Discrete, Power Devices, Silicon Carbide, High Voltage (600V to 3.3kV) or Semiconductor Manufacturing Physical Attributes: Bending at Waist, Bending at Waist, Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Crouching, Electrical Hazards, Extreme Heat, Feeling, Foot Controls, Fumes or Odors, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Mechanical Hazards, Noise and/or vibration, Other, Piece Work, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Seeing, Slippery surfaces, Stooping. This is classified as a safety sensitive position.
