Job Description: Microchip Technology Inc. is looking for a dynamic Academic Relations Program Manager to join our team and lead our intern and new college graduate programs worldwide to attract, hire and retain top talent. Job responsibilities: Collaborates with business leaders and HR partners throughout the US, Asia, and Europe to lead and streamline the university programs globally Develops strong university recruitment strategies to identify and develop future talent pipelines for Microchip Coordinates networking events and builds partnerships with community colleges, universities and local partners i.e. Chamber of Commerce to create brand awareness and collaborate with educational leaders Partners with Academic Engagement team to inspire curriculum at community colleges and universities and create student workshops Partners with Compensation team on analysis of total compensation programs, hiring and termination trends worldwide Partners with Employee Development team to build out early career development and engagement strategies with a focus on retention Partners with hiring managers to understand their needs for early talent development Coordinate hiring campaign strategies amongst regions Will manage two university recruiters Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communication, Business, or related field 8 years of combined relevant experience in university recruitment and managing university programs inward and/or outward facing Willing to travel up to 25% of the time, must be flexible as needed for calls with Asia and Europe team members Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, comfortable presenting and speaking to BU leaders and large audiences Experience communicating with college faculty and stakeholders Preferred Requirements: Previous HR/Recruiting experience in Semiconductor industry Previous people management experience Previous Workday experience This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
