Job Description: The Mask Data Prep (MDP) team in Microchip provides the final step in the product design phase, which includes generating mask layers from standard design layers, applying select biasing, verification of the final data, delivering data to both the internal and external mask house, documenting the mask flow, and creating the software and tools to support the mask flow. Services provided include writing/running Mask Rule Checks (MRC), layer derivation and sizing algorithms, developing, and implementing Optical Proximity Correction Verification (OPCV), and data fracturing. Requirements/Qualifications: MSEE (preferred) or BSEE and 10 years previous experience including 5 years in a leadership role Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must possess excellent English language verbal and written communication skills Excellent teamwork and time management skills, self-direction, the ability to work under pressure and the desire to excel in a competitive environment Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and execute to completion Understanding of the mask workflow (layout, physical verification, Oasis, GDSII, fracture software) Proficiency with layout software tools like Virtuoso, Calibre, and CalibreDRV Fundamental programming skills (Bash, Perl, Python, TCL, or similar languages).
