Job Description: Microchip requires an Administrator II - Document Control for our Garden Grove, CA facility. As a member of the engineering team, the Document Control Administrator will release engineering records, create web content, and maintain technical databases. The Microchip engineering team develops electronic assemblies used in high reliability power systems in Aerospace applications. Responsibilities Include Assist in the population and maintenance of Microchip’s ERP and MRP systems. Post and manage content in an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) website or an understanding of how to create content using a content management system. Generate Engineering Change Orders and other records based upon engineering direction. Maintain revision control and tracking for processing documents. Format documents to make them searchable while also improving clarity and readability Keep minutes during change review boards and other meetings. Manage ongoing content requests from one business unit including updating/replacing PDFs, zip files, etc. Professional interaction with coworkers, customers, and suppliers who may be located both within the United States or internationally. Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or GRE with 2-5 years’ experience; education can be used in lieu of experience. Demonstrated attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio. Familiar with the creation of Adobe .pdf files. Experience with Great Plains, Microsoft AX, and Agile is a plus. Good English writing and verbal communication skills. Domestic and international travel is not required.
