DIRECT HIRE Quality Auditor needed for 2nd Shift

Shift time: 3 pm to 11 pm Monday - Friday

Training schedule: 7 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday for 4 weeks

Micro Gauge is seeking an experienced QUALITY AUDITOR to inspect parts and processes for conformance to company standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

- Verify dimensions, using measuring instruments i.e. micrometer, calipers, and custom made gauges

- Conduct process audits on production floor, recording results on audit forms

- Collect, inspect, highlight defects, assign defect codes, complete scrap reports, and dispose of scrap parts

- Perform "first piece" or set up approval inspections

- Perform dimensional and visual inspection audits and record results

- Identify defective and non-defective material

- Perform quality checks

- Check gauges for correct calibration

Qualifications Include:

· Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions

· Previous Quality Auditor/Inspector experience required

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

· Standing and repetitive bending and twisting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 56 per week
