Michigan Peat has been in business for over 50 years and is now seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Heavy Equipment Operators. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, water trucks, tractors, front-end loaders to efficiently and safely complete assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Safely and proficiently operate equipment.
· Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
· Follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
· Adhere to all safety procedures.
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate work activities and ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
· Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.41 per hour
