Summary
The Department of General Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate to supervise the administrative and operational activities of Briarwood Medical Group. A successful candidate will ensure high-quality patient care and guide in keeping with UMMG goals and objectives, and the Michigan Medicine mission.
The Allied Health Supervisor will oversee the supervision of daily operations, partner with the leadership team in strategic planning, and lead operational changes. Daily operations include all activities related to human resource management (hiring, promotion, salary changes, performance coaching, disciplinary actions, training, and development, ensuring consistent application of organizational policies, etc.), as well as the ability to demonstrate measurable impact on operational effectiveness, attainment of department/unit objectives, service to customers and support of unit-based clinical research.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
