- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and scheduling information
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary instructions, and answer any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of patient care
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries from patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification
Qualifications
- current medical receptionist, or in a similar front desk role in a medical clinic for 2 years
- Knowlege in electronic medical scheduling system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
