To prepare artwork for print and electronic presentation as needed using MAC or PC based computer and graphic programs which makes up the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.). To provide support as needed to the Farm Bureau Insurance Company divisions and agents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as graphic designer as needed for agent promotional materials including marketing pieces for postcards, banners, print advertisements, electronic presentations, etc.
Ensure that graphic materials prepared for press are proofed (design tweaks, spelling errors, grammatical errors) prior to being press ready.
Prioritize, schedule time, and provide departmental communication, design and learning assistance as time permits.
QUALIFICATIONS:Required : Must be currently enrolled at a college or university and have declared a major course of study moving closer to (or working toward) graduation, with a focus in graphic arts or design. Art/graphic design experience required. Excellent computer skills, along with proven knowledge of programs, such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop required. Proven track record of being a team player required.
Preferred : Knowledge of insurance company operations preferred.
