Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler assistant teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Follow a daily schedule and lesson plan
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and development
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Ability to sit on the ground and lift up to 40 pounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
