The following position for the 2024-2025 school year is available:
Position: Student Support Specialist (K-6)
The Student Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting students, groups, and our system through the application of positive behavior supports. This individual will work alongside the Student Support Director and MTSS leadership teams to help identified students become more academically successful through intervention services, behavioral management strategies, and emotional support.
Qualification Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a college/university in an approved social work program or a related field (e.g. psychology, education). Other related degrees may be considered. Preferred experiences/education include: providing services to school aged children from diverse backgrounds; mobilizing community or school based resources related to identified needs; Master’s Degree in related field; knowledge and awareness of trauma and trauma-informed practices; demonstrated success communicating and effectively leading others towards positive outcomes; understanding of child and brain development; and work implementing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating behavior intervention plans.
Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000
