Position Details
Qualifications:
- Fully Licensed Social Work Degree (LMSW)
Job Duties:
- Work with K-12 students on academic growth, problem solving, and conflict resolution
- Assist with the development and implementation of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS)
- Support the development and implementation of a school wide positive behavior system (PBIS)
- Support individual students for personal, social, and emotional growth as related to their educational and social development.
- Develop support groups for students who have similar challenges affecting their school success
- Initiate intervention and prevention programming for at-risk students
- Facilitate and monitor Section 504 plans for individual students
- Communicate with parents to increase their understanding of school programs and student progress and/or needs
- Work cooperatively with other staff members
- Compile and report 31a data for assigned building
- Refer students to appropriate community resources in consultation with parents
- All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
Salary: Wages and benefits in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Chesaning Union School District and Chesaning Education Association MEA/NEA. This position is grant funded through Section 31aa and will be dependent upon the continuation of those grant funds.
