Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of each child.

Duties:

- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our daycare facility

- Plan and implement engaging and educational activities to promote learning and development

- Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity

- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting

- Monitor children's behavior and address any behavioral issues using effective behavior management techniques

- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits

- Change diapers, assist with potty training, and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed

- Collaborate with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions

- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children in our care

Skills:

- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment

- Effective behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors in a positive manner

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers

- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification

- Ability to adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of each child

- Understanding of childhood development milestones and ability to support each child's growth

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
