Reporting directly to the Activity Technical Manager, the TEC Sector Manager plays a crucial role in devising, overseeing, and coordinating strategies to ensure equipment availability, durability, and operational efficiency within the assigned sector. Through continuous improvement initiatives, the Manager optimizes maintenance costs, energy consumption, and process control to support production in achieving its specific goals. Additionally, they foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, striving to surpass safety and quality objectives.
THIS OPEN POSITION IS LOCATED ONLY AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS: JUNCTION CITY, KansasKey Responsibilities
  • Implementing the Risks Prevention Plan and ensuring adherence to safety requirements for both personnel and equipment.
  • Apply the maintenance strategy based on equipment criticality to prioritize maintenance activities effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans incorporating influent parameters to enhance process control and equipment reliability.
  • Continuously analyze maintenance results, optimize interventions, and implement necessary actions for improvement.
  • Optimize maintenance costs by improving operational efficiency, managing energy consumption, and optimizing spare parts usage.
  • Ensure compliance with MMW (Method, Means, and Workplace) standards for orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Address equipment obsolescence cases to ensure equipment durability and reliability.
  • Adapt resources, including competency and quantity, and create training and succession plans to develop and retain talent.
Qualifications And Skills
  • 3 to 5 years of prior maintenance management experience preferred, or a proven history in a similar role.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in maintenance, engineering, or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, facilitating progress and achieving objectives.
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies, reliability engineering, and process control to enhance machine reliability and performance.
  • Experience in developing people through coaching, mentoring, and establishing development plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven history of lateral or promotional career progression in chosen field
