Michael's Restaurant-Parkside is looking for one full time Bar Manager to join our team. We are located on 1525 1st Ave South, Birmingham, Al 35233. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- *Manage and oversee the bar staff and bar operations *Schedule employees *Manage customer complaints *Ensure the bar is stocked and inviting to customers *Work with promotional advertising of the bar *Bar profitability *Maintain liquor licensing *Ensure staff is following local and state regulations
Qualifications
- *Great interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills *Ability to hire, train, manage and schedule staff *Extensive knowledge of liquor, bartending and service protocols *Solid organizational skills and facility with budgets, inventories and negotiating prices with vendors *Great sales skills and talent for developing promotions or new products
