This professional works directly with the Project Manager to complete the work required by our clients. Strong people and technical skills are a must. Technical skills include (but not limited to), installs, troubleshoots, identifies, and maintains products/equipment in the following construction related trades: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, painting, and pneumatic fields.HOURS, COMPENSATION, AND PAY PERIOD: M-F 7am – 3:30pm or as needed to achieve company objectives and fulfill client needs. Position subject to On-Call and/or modified hours.Qualified candidates meeting the criteria of employment will be offered a starting hourly rate of $20.00/hour or more depending on their experience and demonstrated skills in our field trials during the interview process.Hourly / Non-Exempt position – pay period: Bi-Weekly REPORTING STRUCTURE: This position reports to: Project Manager QualificationsTRAINING/ EDUCATION / PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS: Combined 5 or more years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic fields and the ability to demonstrate proficiency in these areasMust be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment Ability to climb in overhead structures, in close quarters and on ladders in both occupied and unoccupied sites. Attention to detail in all forms of communicationMust be able to stand for extended periods of time with little down time (8 hours at a time) Must be able to lift 80 pounds safelyExposure to low voltage systems/ high voltage daily Frequent use of ladders, scaffolding and lifts to work at heights of 8-60 feetMust be able to travel 30% of the timeConceptual knowledge in the following areas: Electrical Construction and Maintenance / Carpentry / Plumbing / Masonry / Safe Demolition / HVAC Systems / Commercial and Residential Construction/ Physical (Environmental) Security.Possess fluent knowledge of office technology platforms Strong verbal and written communications skills Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced working environmentMust be able to safely work at paceMust be customer focused PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Serves existing accounts by completing work orders; conducting tests; resolving problems Work closely with the Project Manager to complete the assigned job Responsible for Material and equipment inventory of assigned installationsWork independently on scope of work through to completion of installation or repairCommunicate w/client before, during, after project / Service callCompliance with Government, OSHA, ICRA, HIPAA and other required regulations as relates to all personnel and work in your area of responsibilityWork closely with others to achieve goals/objectivesWorks safely and smartly by gathering needed tools and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance testsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publicationsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
