Description

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate and lead annual audits with external auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
• Prepare and review budget forecasts and financial projections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and sales to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Mentor and coach junior accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles & financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proven leadership capabilities and experience in supervising accounting teams.
