Job Description
- Participate in regular leadership trainings to foster cohesive team units & promote healthy work environment
- Play key role in the hiring process for production staff
- Assess & select trainers from various production groups, to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, training plans, and safety protocols
- Conduct performance evaluations for production personnel & play role in development initiatives
- Engage with day to day production & support troubleshooting efforts
- Champion continuous improvement programs implemented by the Engineering team
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred - knowledge of IATF16949
- Prior supervisory/team leadership experience, with track record of handling interpersonal conflicts & disciplinary actions
- Understanding of Lean tools - 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work
- Prior experience working in an ERP system
- Excellent communication & written skills
- High-energy, self-driven individual with a team leader mentality
- Base salary $75,000-$90,000 depending on level of experience
- Discretionary annual bonus based on personal metrics and company performance
