Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the project's overall budget and schedule
  • Responsible for providing project updates to the Owner
  • Prepare weekly work assignments to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Review drawings, specifications, narratives, and supplemental information for completeness and clarity and compile questions and comments related to the project's scope of work
  • Provide project management oversight for the design team, contractor, and other project team members
  • Monitoring the performance of all project team members and ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations and expectations
  • Oversee the project team to ensure each individual's role is being performed at a high level
  • Evaluate and negotiate costs for material, equipment, and labor
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal/professional networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Negotiation of project team members' contracts and agreements
  • Develop, manage, and lead clients through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Managing project close-out process and ensuring a proper handoff to the facility management teams
  • Manage furniture, fixture, and equipment (FFE) procurement
  • Support the client to help ensure a positive experience through the project
  • Commitment to excellence personally and professionally

Profile

A successful candidate:

  • 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management with residential project experience
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.

Job Offer

  • A competitive base salary between $100,000-$130,000 (Depending on Experience)
