Client Details

Our client is a full service general contractor that has been in business that has been in business for over 40 years and licensed in 8 different states. This general contractor focuses in preconstruction all the way to project completion. They use multiple new software, and new VDC methods that help improve their projects confidently and strategically, improving their project management and cross coordination to help prevent conflicts early and save clients money and time. This general contractor work on multifamily builds, industrial, manufacturing facilities, restaurants, and retail.

Description

  • Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project timeline.
  • Manage on-site construction activities, including organizing and scheduling subcontractors, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Manage and motivate on-site construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and other project-related documentation.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, job logs, and as-built drawings.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment on-site, promoting teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure that all project closeout requirements are met, including final inspections, punch lists, and turnover to owners or property management teams.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with expertise in multifamily residential construction.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with project stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to construction projects in Oregon.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
