Description

The Data Product Owner, Senior Manager will report into the Vice President and play a critical role in analytics across the Planning & Sales team. They will handle the following:

• Develop and implement robust governance frameworks and standards for master data management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
• Play a critical role in developing and maintain the data product road map.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute data strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging master data to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
• Establish processes and tools to monitor, assess, and improve the quality of master data, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Lead efforts to integrate and harmonize master data from disparate sources, ensuring a single source of truth and enabling seamless data exchange across systems and applications.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, analytics, finance, marketing, and operations teams, to understand their data needs and requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
• Partner with the data governance team to ensure compliance with the data privacy and data integrity.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience 5 in a data management role, with a focus on master data management within the CPG industry.
• In-depth knowledge of master data domains such as product, customer, vendor, and location data.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing data visualization tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working with Jira is a plus.
