TITLE: Full-Time Resident Aide
REPORTS TO: Building Services Coordinator
FLSA STATUS: Non - Exempt
POSITION PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to assist with New Hope Villa property management and supervision of assigned residents in accordance with MVHO policies, philosophy & procedures on his/her designated area. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED. Experience preferred working with the aging and disabled population. Janitorial experience required. Must be able to work 2nd Shift hours, 3rd Shift hours, Weekends, and some major Holidays. Must possess reliable transportation to and from work.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
