Position Overview:

The Government Mover shall move office furniture, equipment, and related supplies in accordance with directions from the Government. Duties include:

• Labor, equipment, and materials to perform various office move related services, such as packing, moving, transportation/delivery, unpacking and move management.
• Labor and equipment to perform various disassembly and reassembly of furniture including reconfigurations, moves, adds, and changes.
• Assist with storage of property in a secured location as required.
• Assist with removal of surplus property to an appropriate location as needed.
• Removal of packing materials, rubbish, and debris, from government premises as directed.
• Set up and take down of conference rooms
• Set up and take down of modular furniture
• Assist the Government Property Analyst with property inventories.
• Assist the Government Property Analyst with disposal of excess property.
• Other duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned
