Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders – Associate Choreographer (Part-Time)

Summary:
The Associate Choreographer will provide choreography services & lead rehearsals for the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders’ 2024-25 season.
Location:
- This is a part-time/seasonal position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL, with anticipated commitment from April 2024 through January 2025.
Responsibilities:
The scope of the Associate Choreographer's services shall include, but is not limited to:
- Implement Cheer Strategy as directed by the Manager, Entertainment Teams.
- Execute season rehearsal schedule as directed by the Manager, Entertainment Teams.
- Lead rehearsals throughout the season (up to 3 times a week for a maximum of 60 rehearsals) as directed by the Manager, Entertainment Teams.
- Example Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays (6:30p-10p)
- Work a total of 10 Miami Dolphins home games (preseason & regular season), a minimum of 8 hours per game day.
- Choreograph and manage assigned cheer game day performances, including but not limited to:
- Pregame plaza performances (5)
- Pregame field performances (2)
- Halftimes (3)
- Endzones (7)
- Ensure all choreography meets Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Brand Standards, including energetic performances, and ensure game-by-game performances are aligned with game themes and initiatives. All choreography must be first approved by the Manager, Entertainment Teams.
- Assist the Manager, Entertainment Teams in selecting music for routines.
- Assist with the planning and execution of auditions, prep clinics, training camp, and boot camp as directed.
- Assist the Manager, Entertainment teams in promoting auditions in order to identify & maintain a diverse and talented set of candidates as directed.
- Assist the Manager, Entertainment Teams in selecting semifinal candidates, finals candidates, training camp candidates and assist with final interviews throughout the Audition process.
- Choreograph three (3) routines for Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Auditions.
- One routine for semifinal auditions.
- One routine for final auditions.
- One routine for group closing performance.
- Assist with development and execution of recruiting opportunities throughout the season, as directed by the Manager, Entertainment Teams.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years of choreography experience in professional or collegiate athletics.
- Should have cheer or dance experience in professional or collegiate athletics.
- Stay on top of current trends and themes in dance to create best in class routines.
- Provide positive leadership and attitude while guiding rehearsals.
