You are already a good lawyer, but we will teach you how to make good money with your hard earned degree. We are a prominent and established Miami based criminal, DUI and traffic defense law firm offering a growth opportunity to an associate attorney with at least 3 years of experience in Criminal Defense. Join our team and start ASAP. Assistant State Attorney or Assistant Public Defender experience is a plus!

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, as well as knowledge of relevant laws, court procedures, legal practice and some trial experience. Basic command of the Spanish language is necessary. This position involves providing representation of clients in legal matters related to criminal, DUI, and traffic defense cases including Domestic Violence, Felonies and Misdemeanors.

Responsibilities may include developing strategies and negotiating plea bargains, preparing motions, conducting research, attending remote and in person court hearings on behalf of clients and trying cases. The attorney must be willing to exhibit compassion, and understanding of the clients needs and will be trained in sales and modern intake procedures.

We are seeking a bright, energetic, and confident attorney who is able to work independently and collaboratively with other professionals in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and solid customer service and communication skills, eager to associate with our established, well-known and reputable, 30 year team of lawyers and paralegals located close to the Richard Gerstein Justice Building.

We will train you, the successful candidate, in both federal and state criminal defense, with an emphasis on promoting your growth and development within our firm. You will qualify for regular performance bonuses, in addition to participation fees for business generated on top of a competitive base starting salary. You will put your law degree to good use by helping lots of individuals facing criminal charges and helping their families cope with the stress of having a loved one in the grasp of the criminal justice system.

You would have your own office in a free standing building with free parking. You would be supported by legal assistants, receptionists and greeters, plus a legal team of attorneys to back you up. You will have the option of having your picture prominently posted on the storefront of the building facing a major thoroughfare. You will enjoy paid vacations (one week first year and two weeks vacation thereafter), paid holidays, sick days, and personal days off. You would start at 9 AM but leave all work at the office by 6 PM - Monday through Fridays. Optional Saturday office hours are available from four to eight hours for additional compensation.
