What You Will Need Education Minimum Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program, or an MRI specific curriculum. Credentials/Licensure Minimum: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, or board eligible within 6 months of hire. Must be ARRT(MR) certified within 2 years of hire. Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire. Must maintain 24 continuing education credits per biennium to retain registry. Preferred ARRT certification in MRI. Related Experience Minimum: Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Preferred: One year of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist.
