Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Must be certified in Elementary Education (K-6) or Primary Education (PreK-3) through the Florida Department of Education (temporary or professional certification).
Polk County Public Schools is looking for an adaptable, independent, and detail-oriented Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate would be able to provide instruction to elementary school-aged students and also be able to collaborate with staff and families regarding student performance.

Ideal applicants meet the following education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field is required, preferably in the field of English or English education. Certification in Prek-3 and K-6, and Gifted K-12 by the Florida Department of Education _(Applicants who are not yet certified are encouraged to apply. We may be able to hire applicants initially as a provisional substitute and place you in the classroom while you work on getting certified.)
