Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers

- Scan goods and collect payments

- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets

- Redeem coupons and stamps - Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

- Keep reports of transactions

- Bag, box, or wrap merchandise

- Process returns and exchanges

Requirements:

- Proven working experience as a Cashier or in a similar role

- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, scanners)

- Strong communication and time management skills

- Customer satisfaction-oriented

- High school degree

- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly

Skills:

- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems

- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions

- Ability to conduct product demos to customers

- Organizational skills for managing stock and inventory

- Competency in operating a cash register efficiently

- Upselling skills to promote additional products or services to customers

- Proficient in cash handling procedures

- Sales experience is beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
