Position Title: Personal Injury Attorney

Job Description:

Our law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others. You will handle a variety of personal injury cases, including but not limited to automobile accidents, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations into clients' personal injury claims.
• Interview clients to gather necessary information and documentation related to their cases.
• Analyze legal issues and develop effective strategies for achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and responses.
• Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and other parties involved in the litigation process.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Provide ongoing communication and support to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Stay current with developments in personal injury law and legal trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas Bar and eligibility to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience practicing personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and providing high-quality legal representation.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, depositions, and court appearances, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling complex personal injury cases, including catastrophic injuries and product liability claims.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as the American Association for Justice or the TexasJustice Association.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
