THE JOB:

As the Event Producer Manager - Project Management, you'll take the reins in orchestrating and executing unforgettable special events! Your role goes beyond logistical management; it's about infusing corporate, social, and in-house gatherings with a thrilling blend of innovative design and cutting-edge technical solutions. From pre-planning to post-sale, you'll be the go-to maestro, ensuring each client's expectations are not only met but surpassed. Your mission: elevate experiences, foster client satisfaction, and secure lasting account retention.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Developcreativesolutionsforclienteventrequestsfromconcepttocompletionasassigned.
  • Ensurethatdesignsmeetpropertyandclientexpectations,arewithinbudgetanddeadlinesaremet.
  • FosterrelationshipswithpropertyCatering,AV,ConventionSalesandServicesdepartments.
  • Conductsalescallsandmeetwithclientstodriverevenueforthedepartmentandcompany.
  • Attendplanningmeetingsandinterfacewithinternaldepartments,clientsandpropertiestoresolveissues.
  • Developandmaintainaglobalunderstandingofpropertymeetingspace,outlet,andvenuecapabilitiesforeventopportunities.
  • Promotebestpractices:provideideastoimprovesalesstrategiesandoperations.
  • Mentor,coachandtrainemployeesoneventdesignandsalestechniques.
  • Liaisewithexistingclientstoensurerepeatbusiness.
  • Communicateprojectstatus,timelinesanddeliveryinformationtoclientsandinternalteams.
  • Cultivateacreativeandcollaborativeenvironmenttoinspiredesignandbuildcohesiveteamswithinthedepartment,divisionandproperties.
  • Participateinstudiotours,clientsiteinspections,FAMtripstopromoteMREPbusiness.
  • Assistwitheventinstallationsasneeded.Participateincritiqueandfinalwalkthroughwithclient.
  • Reviewoutgoingeventbays,picklists,andorderstoensurethatoperationsteamsunderstandtheeventscope.
  • Completeallrequiredpaperworkindetail:proposals,costsheets,contracts,quotes,changeforms,floraldemonstrations, teardownnotes,recapsetc.
  • Staycurrentindesigntrends,entertainment,production,vendorproducts,andnewindustrytechnologies.
  • Ensurethatdatabasesareupdatedwithstatusandclientfollow-upistimely.
  • BecomefluentinMREPinventory.
  • BeanactiveMREPambassadorforthecompanyandwithintheeventsandproductionindustry.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Based in Las Vegas, NV.
  • Takes pride in their work.
  • Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Describes themselves as detail oriented.
  • Strives working in a high-paced environment.
  • Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Has a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years in special event, production, entertainment, catering or hospitality industry including at least 3 years in sales.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
