THE JOB:
Are you a hard worker that appreciates a fast-paced environment? It is the responsibility of the Casino Cashier Representative to process accurate customer and interdepartmental monetary transactions while providing excellent guest service promoting the MGM Rewards program. By understanding the guests’ unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Ensures security of Company assets; including cash, chips, and tokens, during the shift
Assists guests with all transactional needs within specified guidelines including foreign currencies
Balances all appropriate banks within the Cage with supervision
Completes reports or forms accurately
Proficient in the following duties; including but not limited to, marker payments & issuance, deposits, withdraws, and chip bank duties
Will assist with Poker and High Limit Cages
Promote, demonstrates and maintains the highest-level guest services to all guests, escalates guest complaints to the Casino Cage Shift Supervisor
Respond effectively to guest inquiries related to MGM properties and the local area
Promote and enroll guests into MGM Rewards program, MyVegas rewards program, and MGM Rewards Mastercard program
Issue FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons and adjust tier credits to guests upon request in accordance with outlined company policies and procedures
Understands principles of responsible gaming
Ensure consistent promotion of GameSense to all guests
Understands Company AML/Suspicious activity policy and notifies Supervisor of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Performs other job-related duties as requested.
The IDEAL CANDIDATE:
At least 21 years of age
Has a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the management of cash transactions
Currently has a NV Gaming license or the ability to obtain one
Collaborative & detail – oriented
Possesses basic computer skills
Ability to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and holidays

$17.50 per hour
