THE JOB:

At La Pizza La Pasta, the Bus Person plays a crucial role in upholding the overall cleanliness and organization of the establishment. Their main duty is to ensure that the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage station adhere to the prescribed standards of cleanliness and stock levels.

STARTING RATE: $13.8544 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist servers in ensuring proper guest service by promptly responding to their requests and supporting their needs.

• Safely lift and transport heavy equipment, such as trays of dishes and bus tubs, to and from the dining area and kitchen.

• Polish flatware and set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories.

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items.

• Coordinate table availability and communicate effectively with servers, hostesses, and management to ensure effective table turnover.

• Serve water, coffee and soft drinks and refill as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors by ensuring they are clean and free of debris.

• Preform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

PREFFERED:

• One (1) year restaurant (bus person, food runner, etc.) experience.

• Customer service experience.

• Experience working in a similar resort setting.
