THE JOB:

The In Room Dining Bus Person plays a crucial role in upholding the overall cleanliness and organization of the establishment. Their main duty is to ensure that the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage station adhere to the prescribed standards of cleanliness and stock levels.

STARTING RATE: $13.7044 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist servers by promptly responding to their requests and supporting their needs to ensure excellent guest service.

• Safely lift and transport heavy equipment, such as trays of dishes and bus tubs, between the dining area and kitchen.

• Set up and prepare room service deliveries, including polishing flatware and arranging appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories.

• Stock and unload deliveries for the room service kitchen, ensuring all items are stored correctly and promptly.

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables, then reset with fresh linens, glassware, votive candles, and additional tabletop items.

• Communicate effectively with servers, hostesses, and management to coordinate table availability and ensure smooth table turnover.

• Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed.

• Maintain the cleanliness of dining room floors, ensuring they are clean and free of debris.

• Preform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

PREFFERED:

• Some bus person experience.

• Some customer service experience.

• Experience working in a similar resort setting.
