Day to day you will be helping our team improve on the overall process of the building and the individual team member. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5:30pm Responsibilities: Must have the ability to mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors (16 employees). The ability to identify bottle necks within the work flow and implement solutions to overcome those barriers. The ability to prioritize specific areas of the receiving department to ensure the team gets out in a timely manner. The ability to stay calm under pressure and understand your reactions to situations depicts your perception by the team. The ability to problem solve when discrepancies arise in a timely manner. Proper procedure with contacting a vendor and getting the correct information required to determine a solution to a discrepancy. High sense of awareness with your surroundings with all areas within the department. Administers and operates the Distribution Centers product inventory. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified, and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Accounts for all variances with inventory, vendor shipments, bin verifications throughout the product lifetime. Corrects discrepancies in goods received into the warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of inventory including refrigerated product, large equipment, Lot controlled inventory, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates electronic schedules for receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of inventory and equipment. May prepare reports of results and conclusions for management. Minimum Requirements: Typically requires 5 years of related experience. Preferred Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to speak with individuals to clearly explain each process effectively Passion and commitment to the success of our team and individuals Strong verbal and written communication skills High degree of flexibility needed, to meet challenges of working in a high-intensity environment with constantly changing priorities Must be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from management Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Must be able to operate the Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certification. (I.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider.) SAP experience preferred.
