Job SummaryThe Fleet Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the compliance of regulated vehicles and equipment, particularly as it pertains to the Department of Transportation. This position will work directly with the Manager, DOT Compliance to ensure MGE’s fleet is up-to-date with inspections, service, repairs, and DVIRs. The Coordinator needs to be skilled with data entry and analysis and have an exceptional eye for detail. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain all DOT service and inspection records daily within the fleet software system as well as filing as required.
  • Provide the Manager, DOT Compliance with daily updates as to service, repair, and inspection needs.
  • Assist the Manager, DOT Compliance with scheduling service, repair, and inspection needs at all MGE locations utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Assist in managing and scheduling factory or manufacture recalls and service orders.
  • Ensure that all DOT-required service, maintenance, and inspection records including unresolved DVIRs are up to date.
  • Creating work orders for service, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Close out work orders as required and update service schedule.
  • Update equipment location and master service and repair documentation weekly.
  • Maintain equipment Out-of-Service logs and keep them up to date.
  • Provide the Manager, DOT Compliance with weekly 90-day inspection summary.
  • Assist with telematics reporting and auditing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills/Abilities
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong analytical skill with ability to create and present detailed reports.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software and tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or related role with data entry and analysis experience.

The salary range for the Fleet Compliance Coordinator in Paso Robles, CA is $25.00 to $30.50 hourly.The above salary range represents MGE Underground, Inc.’s competitive compensation at the time of this job post. Pay within this range will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, skills/abilities, and applicable knowledge.Benefits
