Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Role:

  • Inspect, clean, and package various products.
  • Perform boxing, bagging, labeling, and tubing of various cannabis products.

Primary Role:

  • Operate packaging machines, including the flapper, heat-sealer, and bag labeler.
  • Utilize the capping tool for the capping process as needed
  • Assemble packaging materials which includes assembling boxes, and opening bags,
  • Insert products in their corresponding packaging.
  • Properly apply compliance stickers to bags.
  • Package products in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Adhere to company SOPs and compliance processes.
  • Be a team player to accomplish tasks assigned by the production manager.
  • Contribute to achieving daily production goals as part of the team.
  • Meet the established rates for performing various production processes.
  • Follow 5s lean methods to optimize efficiency.
  • Adhere to legal and company policies and procedures
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area before and after use
  • Perform quality assurance checks as outlined in the SOPs.
  • Perform tasks across multiple departments when assigned by a manager.
  • Reports to the Production Manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail
  • 1 year(s) packaging experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks using fingers, wrists, hands, arms, and shoulders, with excellent hand dexterity preferred.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

Work Location and Schedule:
This is a full-time (M-F 6:00 am – 2:30 pm), paid by the hour, non-exempt position. The employee must have reliable transportation and will work on-site at our facility in South Park, Seattle.
