About the Opportunity

OBJECTIVE:

The Programmer Analyst is to analyze, develop, test, and maintain computer programs and systems that meet the needs of an MFA Incorporated under the direction of the Team Lead with minimal supervision. This position works closely with clients, stakeholders, and other members of MFA Incorporated to identify requirements and develop solutions that automate business processes and improve efficiency.
This position is responsible for understanding the business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that meet those needs. This includes writing and maintaining source code, designing, and implementing databases, and testing software applications to ensure they are reliable and efficient. This position also collaborates with other IT professionals to identify and resolve software issues and implement new technologies to improve systems and processes.
All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

  • Can designing and implementing software solutions using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Can turn designs into reality by implementing and adapting technology-oriented processes and solutions through custom programming, development, and data integration activities.
  • Can design and build data structures as needed to support business intelligence reporting, including but not limited to a data warehouse and related structures.
  • Can write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practice

  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft development stack
  • Exposure to Power BI
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with C# programming language, .NET Framework, and related technologies are necessary. This includes experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL is also required, as C# Programmer Analysts often work with databases to create data-driven applications.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANIDATES WILL BRING:

  • B. S. degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Five plus years developing complex queries with T-SQL
  • Three plus years developing with SSRS
  • Experience in VSTS
  • Experience in business or data analytics
