About the Opportunity

In this full-time position, the employee will be expected to analyze soil samples and other soil data, yield monitor data, and other information to develop variable rate recommendations and GIS enabled management zones for fertilizer, seed, and other crop inputs. You will develop relationships and make sales calls with existing and prospective clientele. You will support other sales and location operation staff in their ability to use precision and digital ag tools to service MFA's clientele. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policies. This position will cover Emma, Alma, Odessa, Higginsville, Lexington, Orrick, and Norborne in Western MO. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of Precision Agronomy Program & Software
• Sales of Nutri-Track and Precision Ag Based Services
• Support Sales Efforts of Key Account Managers and other Teammates
• Support Locations Operational Abilities to Provide Precision Services
• Facilitate Sales of Precision Hardware

Our expectations are that you:

• Are available to work full time hours
• Are available to work Saturdays & Sundays (overtime as needed)
• Are able to do heavy lifting, loading and bending (50-100 pounds)

Highly qualified candidates will bring:

• A BS degree in agriculture or equivalent experience is desired but not required
• Experience in sales & crop advising
• Agriculture background (helpful)
