We are looking for a full time barback to join the Mezzo team!

As a barback, you are an integral part of the back of the house teams. You are responsible for assisting bartenders with supplies needed throughout the night, cleaning and organizing front and back of the establishment in a timely manner. You will be required to use proper sanitation practices.

• Thursday to Sunday
• Weekends
• Night Shifts

Experience:

• barback: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
• Knowledge of how to handle commercial equipment
• Be able to work in a standing position for 6 hours
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties:

• Assisting bartenders and manager on duties and supplies throughout the night
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, and cleaning any spills and broken glass immediately
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area; assist with cleaning facility throughout shift to maintain cleanliness
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Sanitize the kitchen area, floors, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Report any serious incidents to upper management, such as machine failure or broken facilities
• Other duties as requested
