Since 1983, the Chocolate Chicken coffee, ice cream and candy shop has been a staple in the Egg Harbor Community. Last year (under new ownership) the brand saw a full refresh, while still offering a great selection of ice cream and sweets! Staff members will also have the ability to pick up extra hours at the Mezzanine restaurant in various positions. We are looking for hardworking, fun, and positive staff members to spend the summer with us. 

Individuals holding this title will be responsible for exceptional guest service via the direction of the Operations Director. Employees in this position will be required (but not limited) to performing the tasks listed.

· Provide exceptional guest service

· Keep guests engaged to create memorable experiences

· Answer phone per shop needs and guidelines

· Prepare a variety of hot and cold drinks per company recipes

· Anticipate guest needs and address issues promptly

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment

· Possess a fundamental industry knowledge with the willingness to grow ‘beyond the basics’

· Assist in online order packaging and fulfillment 

· Work professionally with fellow employees

· Maintain scheduling availability as agreed upon during the hiring process

· Show up on time to scheduled shifts, missing work only in the event of sickness or emergency (proper notice required when applicable)

· Perform side work and weekly cleaning as defined

· Perform additional tasks as instructed by any member of management

· Help fellow employees with any and all tasks as needed

· Execute thorough open and closes

· Responsible for accurate shift reporting

· Greet guests at host stand per store needs

This position could start as early as April 2023, and end as late as October 31st 2023. We also have employment opportunities at other locations for those who wish to relocate after the end of the season.
