Description
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Transport goods to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and/or pickups
- Loading and unloading of trucks
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have For-Hire Endorsement or able to obtain immediately upon hire
- Experience operating a box truck
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with GPS devices and mapping apps
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair
