Mettowee Mint is a full service garden center located in Dorset, Vermont. Our mission is to provide the tools to create healthy, biodiverse landscapes and timeless ornamental gardens, encouraging connection with the natural world. The Mettowee’s 4.5 acre campus includes a retail store and tropical greenhouse, espresso bar, production greenhouses, a floral design studio, workshops, barns, and more situated on the banks of Mettowee River. We offer comprehensive design to build landscaping services and work for clients throughout the Northshire.

We are currently seeking a landscaper to join our team. Compensation based on experience.

Requirements include:

• Install a variety of plant material including large trees, shrubs and perennials. Experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication skills with lead designer and crew, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and anticipate solutions with unforeseen conditions.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and moving heavy materials safely.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working with a team and/or alone.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Heavy equipment experience a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Create beautiful and functional home landscapes under the direction of lead designer.
• Provide efficient and professional service for Mettowee Mint clients.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
