Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant individual to join our team as Part-Time Bar/Restaurant Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff, and property during evening hours. This part-time position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a keen sense of observation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and enjoyable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Patron Safety: Maintain a visible and proactive presence to deter and handle any potential disturbances or conflicts within the bar/restaurant.
• ID Verification: Enforce age restrictions by checking identification to ensure that all patrons meet legal age requirements for entry.
• Crowd Control: Manage crowd flow during peak hours, ensuring a safe and orderly environment within the establishment.
• Assist Staff: Collaborate with bar and restaurant staff to address any security concerns promptly, including escorting unruly patrons off the premises when necessary.
• Surveillance: Monitor surveillance cameras and walk the premises regularly to identify and address any suspicious behavior or potential security risks.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in case of emergencies, including but not limited to medical incidents, fights, or other disruptive situations.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with management, fellow security personnel, and other staff members to share relevant information and coordinate responses.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and approachable customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding security in the hospitality industry.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Valid security license or certification (if applicable in your location).
