Summary: Plans, coordinates, and directs the general operations of assigned libraries and departments within Guest Services; supervises, coaches, and mentors managers; coordinates with the Chief Guest Officer to evaluate guest services, staffing, and policies and procedures.
The hiring salary for this position is $92,601.60. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. This position is exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekends when necessary.* Candidates should be available during library operating hours which include evenings and weekends.
*Hours are subject to change according to the needs of the department.
This position will be assigned to the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library at 300 Park Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73102. The Ronald J. Norick Library is named after former Mayor Ron Norick. Norick was a visionary and the champion of the "MAPS" project which voters passed to provide funding for nine new building projects in the downtown area. The library opened in 2004 in the new four-story, 114,130 square foot facility.
