Join our dynamic team as a full-time Medical Assistant! We are seeking an individual who thrives on thorough attention to detail and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities will include rooming patients, updating electronic medical records (EMRs) with precision and accuracy, recording history of present illness (HPI), and family and social history.
The ideal candidate will be professional, articulate, and self-motivated, with proficient typing skills. Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional rotating Saturday shifts (9 am-12 pm). Extended hours Monday & Tuesday until 6 pm.
Allergy & Otolaryngology medical office experience is preferred, although individuals with bright, stable demeanors and 1 years of medical office experience will be considered.
Key Requirements:
- Medical Assistant training certification and/or equivalent training
- Strong multitasking skills and proactive initiative
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
Additional duties may include:
- Managing patient flow
- Setting up exam rooms
- Escorting patients to exam rooms
- Taking vital signs
- Administering injections
