Our client is seeking an experienced DOB Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mixed-use construction and a deep understanding of NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations and procedures. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and NYC DOB regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics to optimize project efficiency.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and documentation of site activities.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are completed in a timely manner.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in mixed-use construction.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC DOB regulations and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex construction schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Manager Certificate is preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
