Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a open combined Direct Support Professional (DSP) and Homemaking (HMK) position to fill immediately in Edina. The male client has 4 hours/week of IHS with training that pays at $25/hour, and 2 hours and 45 minutes of HMK per week. He prefers 1 staff to do both, and for his staff to be female. Client lives in his own home, provides cleaning supplies, and has ample parking.

**Note: Individual also has 4 hours/day or 28 hours/week of PCA that pays at $18/hour, the applicant can also apply for.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Light cleaning, some laundry, and taking out the garbage
• Transporting and accompanying in the community to run errands, shopping, etc.
• Making and attending appointments
• Completing paperwork
• Picking up medication
• Meal preparation

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker
• Friendly outgoing demeanor
• Experience as a DSP or another type of caregiver
• Pass a background check

Additional Details:

• Allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All DSPs will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage currently.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
