This is a POOL position. Application materials for this adjunct position accepted on an on-going basis due to increasing demand for courses in this subject area.
The Workforce and Economic Development Division (WED) of Metropolitan Community College is the leader in innovative workforce solutions and community enrichment. We partner to first develop our community in order to develop it economically for the growth of the Kansas City metro's citizens; families, businesses, industry, organizations, and associations.
As in instructor you will teach students the introduction to Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Oxy Fuel Thermal Cutting technologies. The training will take place in a virtual technologies setting and real lab environment.
Minimal Qualifications
  • Five (5) years welding experience in industry.
  • Relevant licenses and certifications.
Preference will be given to individuals who possess:
  • Associate's degree or higher in field.
